Harrison isn’t “just off the boat”; but he is just off boats. Though his family is a serious player in the world of design and fashion, this native Brazilian’s journey to “behind the chair” is an unusual one. Just 5 years ago, Donna noticed a young woman with a striking haircut here in South Florida. Always on the lookout for fresh talent, she enquired about the stylist responsible. The woman directed Donna to Harrison who, at that moment, was engaged in peeling barnacles off the bow of a fishing boat. Impressed with his raw talent, Donna convinced Harrison to drop the paint scraper, pick up some styling shears and assist her in the salon. Just 2 years later, Harrison aced his hairdressers’ exam and is now a licensed stylist – offering his clients a heartfelt smile and lots of style. So there you have it – A Star (Stylist) Is Born.
